WIBG-AM began operations in the mid-1960s as WSLT on 1520 kHz, featuring such notable radio hosts as Larry Keene, Phil Sheridan and Bob Everland. The call sign was changed to WIBG in 1978 after the call went out of use in Philadelphia. The station broadcast with various formats over the years including MOR, Top 40, oldies and country. In the early 1980s WIBG their transmitter and tower from Somer's Point to Palermo, changing its frequency to 1020 kHz in the process. Today WIBG aires Spanish-language programming during the week, with 50s/60s oldies music and local talk on the weekends.

WIBG-FM signed on the air March 29, 1976, as WWOC with a beautiful music format until March 27, 1992, when it was changed to WXNJ. On February 3, 1993, the station reverted its call sign back to WWOC; on March 3, 2001, to WWZK; on February 17, 2005, to WILW; and on August 19, 2009, to the current WIBG-FM. The programming is Classic Hits of the 80's, with songs from the 60s and 70s sprinkled in. Using a personality approach reminiscent of the "WIBBAGE" format from the Philadelphia AM 990 powerhouse of the 50s, 60s and 70s. WIBG-FM transmits on 94.3 MHz.
